A release from the Productivity Commission on Migration shows that the commission is requesting higher fees for Contributory Parent Visas. This recommendation was made to the Federal Government, and it also requests that the government only allow non-contributory parent via to be granted to cases of compassion.
The commission also expressed disapproval of the visa stream emanating from the Business Innovation and Investment sector. They were particularly critical of the Significant Investor Visa.
